MLS Career: Started 102 games for the Philadelphia Union over the last four seasons (2011 through 2014) with 28 shutouts.

2014: Became the youngest goalkeeper in MLS history to reach 100 career starts, Oct. 11, 2014. Appeared and started in 29 games, logging five shutouts in 2,610 minutes of action, including two wins in the U.S. Open Cup. His two saves in the penalty kick tiebreaker sealed a U.S. Open Cup semifinal win against FC Dallas, putting the Union in its first-ever U.S. Open Cup final.

2013: Played and started all 34 games of the season, logging 2060 minutes. He posted a 1.29 goals against average with a 69.0Dpercent save percentage and 12 shutouts over those 34 matches. Became youngest keeper in MLS history to record 20  wiins and 20 shutouts.

2012:  Solidified his position as the Union’s starting goalkeeper, starting in all but two games logging a Union single season goalkeeping record 2880 minutes.  On September 29 he set the Union record for most saves in a game with 8 saves agasinst the Columbus Crew.  On August 19 he saved his first penalty kick against the D.C. United to keep the game level and give the Union a 1-1 draw.  He set the Single Season record for the Union in Appearances, wins, shut-outs, saves, and most consecutive shut-out minutes with 408.

2011: Drafted fifth overall in 2011 MLS SuperDraft… Replaced Faryd Mondragon on September 3 when he fractured his finger in a match vs. Real Salt Lake… Started seven games, logging 675 minutes… Posted a 1.07 goals against average with a 64% save percentage and three shutouts over eight games played… Was undefeated as a starter (3-0-4) ... In international friendlies, started and held Everton scoreless in 45 minutes of action and held Real Madrid scoreless after entering in the 65th minute, including a huge save on direct kick form Ronaldo!!

 

2009: NSCAA Third Team All-American...First Team All-ACC...First Team All-South Atlantic Region...TopDrawer.com Team of the Season - Second Team...Soccer America MVP Second Team honoree...Started in 21 matches...Posted a solid 0.88 GAA...finished his sophomore campaign with 62 saves and a .765 save percentage.

2008: NCAA National Champion...ACC Champion...All-ACC Freshman honoree...ACC All-Academic pick...NCAA statistical champion in goals against average (0.44)...Tied a Maryland-program record for shutouts in a season with 12...Finished the year with a spectacular 19-1 record, including 19-straight wins at keeper...Tallied 55 saves and boasted a stellar .859 save percentage...Named to the 2009 ACC All-Tournament team after tallying three consecutive shutouts for the champion Terps...Made a sliding save against North Carolina in the national championship game to preserve a 1-0 win for Maryland.

 INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE: Member of U-17 residency program, U-17 at 2007 FIFA World Cup, and U-18, U-20, and U-23 national team pools ... Competed with the U-17 team at the 2007 FIFA World Cup, starting two games in goal ... Toured with U-23 team in China. Won two international tournaments, U20’s @2010 Milk Cup, Nothern Ireland,  U-18’s @2009 Australian Youth Olympic Festival, Sydney, Australia. Trained twice with Tim Howard at Everton.

Club Experience: Played for the Chargers Soccer Club-Clearwater, member of Pete Mannino’s 2006 U14 State Champion squad before being selected to US Soccer Residency program.
